Life Skills & Transition to Independence

Older children and youth at Diani Children’s Village are given structured and meaningful support to prepare them for independent and successful adult lives. This includes access to vocational training programs, skill development workshops, and higher education opportunities tailored to their interests and abilities. They also receive career guidance, mentorship, and counseling to help them make informed decisions about their professional paths.

In addition, we assist them in exploring and securing employment opportunities, internships, and practical experiences that build confidence, competence, and financial independence. By providing continuous support, encouragement, and real-world learning experiences, we empower older children and youth to become self-reliant, responsible, and productive members of society, ready to contribute positively to their communities and the world.
